The Phoenician, a Luxury Collection Resort in Scottsdale showcases a dynamic art collection that plays to the textures and colors of the natural landscape of the Sonoran Desert and local culture. The collaboration between ownership along with interior design teams Wimberly Interiors and Parker Torres Design as well as Eaton Fine Art, led to a curated art collection that enhances the guest experience.

Throughout the public spaces, an eclectic mix of media from local Arizona and Southwestern-based artists collectively illustrates the diversity of the topography and rich history of the region. Other contemporary pieces allude to the patterns of Native American woven textiles, a gallery-style collection with works by local artists, and an antique handwoven basket by the Tohono O’odham people – a native tribe of the Sonoran Desert.

Overall, the art collection provides a sense of place and acts as a window into the culture of the property’s location and history while embracing the meditative cycle of the desert.
