AC Hotel Austin-University, a dual-branded hotel located in the heart of Austin’s vibrant campus district, embodies a sophisticated, yet decidedly uncomplicated vibe. To complement the hotel’s contemporary design, Eaton Fine Art curated an art collection, sourced from Austin’s thriving art community, that complements the décor, natural hues, and richly textured finishes.
The curated experience begins inside Acre 41, a modern, upscale neighborhood restaurant. The art collection within the space pays homage to the surrounding landscape and culture of Austin. Taking inspiration from the surrounding natural springs, subtle hints of water are included throughout the art collection. Additionally, imagery of South Congress Bridge and the half million bats that occupy underneath the structure are featured in an abstract poster, as well as objet d’art pieces that provide a nod to the city’s rich Mexican culture and playful cowgirl reference.
The art collection references the surrounding landscape of Austin while highlighting the city as the live music capital of the world.
